So I’m taking this course on information policy, and we’ve been assigned to write some pretty interesting position papers.  For one paper, we had to take a position on whether we would filter GLBT Internet content in public libraries.  For another, we had to take a position on implementing video surveillance at the University Library.  Most recently we wrote about whether or not Amazon should have enforced its patent on 1-Click shopping.  The papers are sort of an exercise in role-play, too — for each paper, we pretended that we had a specific position within the organization, and this influenced our positions.  I just thought I’d share some of those with you here:
